Coordinator

The business coordinator must effectively direct and manage stakeholder engagement programs. They must ensure that these projects meet quality standards and are delivered on budget and on time. Typical duties may include supervising staff and project assistants and liaising internally with other senior staff. The role also requires coordinating with current and potential contractors, consultants, funders, stakeholders, and partner organisations.
Additional job duties may include designing and coordinating training workshops, maintaining databases, facilitating meetings, and writing project proposals. The job holder may be asked to write case studies for use as training material. This individual is also expected to lead by example and foster teamwork by proactively seeking solutions to problems.
To be considered for this position, the applicant should at least hold a BA in business management, finance, or administration. Employers typically look for those with three or four years’ of previous leadership experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective interpersonal skills, are absolutely essential. This job typically pays between C
$34,500 and C
$65,500 per year.
