Newmarket is a town in Southern Ontario located approximately 25 km north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Greater Toronto Area and is connected to Toronto by freeway, and is served by two interchanges along Highway 404, and connected to Highway 400 via Highway 9. Some of Newmarket's most noticeable landmarks are the Upper Canada Mall, Southlake Regional Health Centre, and its many parks and recreation areas. Newmarket is the regional seat of York Region.
