Network Security

Confidential information is kept within a company’s IT department. As hackers are rife, the importance of network security should never be undervalued in business. Those with backgrounds in network security are able to specialize in various positions such as engineer, specialist, architect, and analyst.
While an engineer or architect is responsible for designing and putting programs together, an analyst carefully watches over a company’s IT operations to ensure that there is no risk of harm being done. In the event that there is such a risk, a specialist will usually be called in to put things straight.
The majority of network security roles are in the east, specifically in Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa. The median salary is around C
$50,000, with the best paid wages in the aforementioned cities.
