Project Engineer

A project engineer is a key player in the building and civil construction field, whereby the job holder has already earned a reputation for quality work and has shown quantitative results time and again. Assisting the project manager and superintendent of the site, the position holder is required to plan, procure parts and materials, as well as arrange work for the workforce.
Extensive experience in construction is required, as is the ability to organize people, work loads and multiple projects, and be able to prioritize jobs to ensure a smooth work flow. The project engineer deals with a large amount of paperwork, from contracts to day-to-day documentation, and scheduling, coordination and budgeting should be of excellent quality.
The required education is a bachelor’s degree in engineering in a relevant area, as well as at least one to three years’ experience. Competitive wages with a median salary of C
$71,076 is the norm, which excludes any profit sharing, bonuses, on-call duties or overtime.
